    A rotary kiln is a slowly rotating cylindrical furnace used for high-temperature processing of materials. It's the backbone of cement, metallurgy, chemical, and environmental industries.


    How It Works

    Material enters from the upper end, moves downward as the kiln rotates (1-4 rpm, 3-5% incline), and undergoes chemical or physical transformation at 1000-1600°C before discharge.

    Key Components

    • Kiln shell: Alloy steel plate with refractory lining

    • Tyre & support rollers: Carry the rotating weight

    • Drive system: Motor + gearbox + girth gear

    • Seals: Prevent air leakage at both ends

    • Burner & cooler: Heat source and product cooling
